Interfaces drawn with intention, coded with care, and given a pulse of their own.
01About

I’m Harsh Rathod, a Front-End Designer with 4 years 1 month of professional work behind me. I care about how an interface looks, how it feels under the hand, and how it moves in the browser.
My first step into tech was curiosity: an online ethical hacking workshop in 2020. A year later I was a trainee PHP developer, learning how a whole web project fits together. At Hashtechy I stayed on as a front-end developer, owning client websites from wireframe to launch.
What I enjoy most is the handover between design and code: taking a Figma file and making it feel right on a real phone. Reusable components, clear hierarchy and quick pages. And I work with AI tools every day to explore, prototype and debug faster, while the decisions, testing and taste stay mine.
Diploma in Information Technology, RC Technical Institute, Ahmedabad. Graduated May 2022.
Hierarchy, colour, type and rhythm. Layouts that feel considered before anyone reads a word.
React, Next.js and clean CSS. Pixel-faithful, fast and accessible on real devices.
Hover, focus, feedback and flow. Every control should answer back in a way that feels natural.
Easing, timing and choreography that guide the eye and make a page feel alive, never busy.
From clean code and tested hand-offs to e-commerce, analytics and AI-assisted workflows.
Interfaces that work on every screen, written so the next person can read them.
Closing the gap between a design file and a working page.
Finding the problem before someone else does.
Making what exists faster, clearer and easier to use.
Pages that sell, sign people up and measure what happens next.
Being useful to designers, developers and teammates around me.
I keep learning the best tools as they appear, and I write prompts that get accurate answers on the first pass, which saves credits and time.
I ask for alternatives (layouts, structures, wording) and then pick with my own judgment. AI widens the table. I still decide what goes on it.
Architecture, careful refactors, debugging and long-context code review.
Brainstorming, copy, quick explanations and a second opinion on an approach.
Research, long documents and image checks, like comparing a screenshot with a design.
An agent-first IDE for multi-step build tasks, always with a review step before anything is kept.
In-editor pairing: targeted edits, codebase questions and fast completions.
Turns a prompt or sketch into UI screens quickly, as a starting point to refine in Figma.
Quick interactive prototypes and layout ideas inside the design file.
Component and layout drafts that I adapt into the real codebase.
Mood, imagery and illustration direction for hero art and backgrounds.
02Journey
4 years 1 month of front-end work across 5 companies, starting with an internship in 2021. Like a tree, each role wrapped around the one before it.
Scroll to grow the path. Open any stop to see what I did, what it taught me and what I carry forward.
How the full-stack workflow fits together, which still shapes how I talk to back-end teams.
Carries forwardKnowing how the back end thinks helps me build front ends that plug cleanly into APIs, checkout and payment flows.
Owning a site end to end teaches you that a design is only finished when it works on every screen.
Carries forwardShipping whole client sites taught me to own a brand's website start to finish: design, build, launch and fix.
Design feedback is a skill of its own. Clarity and hierarchy often matter more than new features.
Carries forwardClear hierarchy is what turns visitors into readers and readers into customers. I carry that into every page.
Testing my own work first makes the whole team faster, and designers happier.
Carries forwardLive data, API integration and testing my own work means screens that are ready for analytics and real users.
PWAs and performance work taught me to care about how a page feels on a slow phone, not only how it looks.
Carries forwardPWA and performance work means fast, app-like experiences on any phone, which is where most audiences are.
Next
Ready for a team where design, development, testing and AI-assisted work come together. I bring front-end craft, Shopify and e-commerce know-how, analytics-minded improvements and a calm, steady way of working.

04Interests
Away from work I read, journal, practise yoga and meditation, play cricket and eat simply. A calm routine is the quiet base I design from.
A few pages every day. Reading keeps my thinking slow, clear and curious.
Writing the day down before it ends. It's how I untangle ideas and notice patterns.
Finding balance through mindful movement, quiet breaths, and moments of stillness.
Matches with friends: teamwork, patience and a little healthy competition.
05Connect
If there’s a design to bring to life, a page to polish, or a problem you’d like another pair of hands on, I’d be glad to hear about it. Based in Anand, India.
